South Chatham Writers' Workshop
Spread your literary wings
Founded in 2013, the South Chatham Writers' Workshop is an intensive, one-week program for aspiring writers and writers who seek further training. The workshop is directed by the award-winning writer and Boston College professor Maxim D. Shrayer.
Over the years, we've met many working professionals who have important ideas for papers or books, but don't know how to begin or how to continue. We aim to help writers find focus and develop their own literary voice. We offer a remarkably small student-professor ratio, ensuring personal learning and feedback. Be inspired by diverse and stimulating colleagues from all walks of life. Recharge your creative energies in the historic Cape Cod village of South Chatham, an idyllic setting away from the hustle and bustle of daily professional life. Visits from award-winning writers enliven our discussions, as do the finest pastries we can find.
